How often does my boat/car need to be detailed?It is recommended that a full detail be don't twice (2 times) per year. For boats, this is usually on either end of the season. Between full detail services or is recommended that you get monthly maintenance washes. This is especially important for those who have received a Ceramic Coating.

How long does Boat Detailing take?The amount of time needed to detail a boat is directly dependent on 1. The type of boat being detailed 2. The level of detailing being performed 3. The condition of the boat. Obviously a 43' yacht that's never met a buffer receiving a full detail service isn't going to be complete in a day. That is more like a week and a half to two weeks. A ski boat that is booked for their monthly maintenance wash can likely be completed within 4 hours. Sometimes, stuff happens out of our control that can cause a delay as well . We will try to advise of out best estimate at the time of booking.

How long does Auto Detailing take?Like boat detailing, the amount of time it takes us directing impacted by Begich route, service being performed and condition of the vehicle. A dirty Tahoe getting ceramic will take more time than a clean Lexus. Outside events we can't control may impact total time. We'll do our best to advise of the estimated time at the time of booking.

How should I prepare for my upcoming detail service?To prepare for an upcoming detail service remove all personal items and clear out any storage compartment. Other than that, locate any spare keys you will need to leave with the vehicle and you're ready!

What is the best way to detail a vehicle?To take it to a professional. The time and cost it takes most people to service their own vehicles is in many cases more than it works be to have it done. Most don't have the correct supplies and equipment which is also increasing the risk is unfavorable results. But if you choose to proceed anyway, just remember to always work front to back, top to bottom. Oh! And don't use household cleaners.

I called to book a detail with you and was told it would be a few weeks. Why do I have to wait so long?Below the Belt Services prides themselves on providing the best service they can. This takes time. We want to be certain we did all we could to meet the level of service each and every customer has booked with us. That starts with setting realistic expectations and ends with no vehicle leaving our shop before we are satisfied with the work completed. While having to wait for your detail now may be annoying and inconvenient, it is a company policy you'll appreciate when you're vehicle is in our shop.

What vehicles do you detail?Primarily we provide detail and ceramic coating services for boats, classic, exotic and luxury cars & truck s well as motorcycles. Although we do make exceptions from time to time these are our focus.

Why do you require a deposit?There's a couple reasons we require a deposit for our detailing and ceramic coating services. The first being there are some supplies that may be needed, especially ceramic that we have to order near the time of service and the deposit goes towards those expenses. Also, because we plan our business and personal lives around our schedule. People who make a deposit are more serious about getting a detail or ceramic coating.
